Locals love to hang out at the Community Cafe for breakfast and lunch, but tourists are welcome too! And it’s one of my favorites. It’s a great place to stop for breakfast before a day of wine tasting. They even have box lunches for a Wine Country picnic you can order 24 hours in advance!
It was important to us to find a good Mexican restaurant tonight. Chip and I met 30 years ago on vacation at Club Med in Mexico, so we had to celebrate over fine Mexican cuisine. La Casa Restaurant in Sonoma Plaza was just the ticket.
You couldn’t ask for a much better location than Sonoma Valley Inn, only two blocks from the historic Sonoma Plaza. It’s reasonably priced and loaded with unexpected amenities. And it has five accessible rooms with three different configurations. (more…)
