Sonoma Creek Inn is an affordable but charming alternative to pricier Wine Country hotels. One of the 16 rooms in this boutique inn is accessible (Room 14 queen). It even has a roll-in shower! The inn is a 10-minute drive to Sonoma Plaza and only minutes away from some of the best wineries in Sonoma Valley.

Park in the accessible space–right in front of accessible Room 14, and walk/roll up the ramp to the Office to check-in.
Back at the car, a short ramp leads to the accessible room.
The queen bed has plenty of room on both sides for a wheelchair or scooter. The wall-mounted temperature control is within easy reach.
Sonoma Creek Inn has addressed important accessibility details—the bedside lamp has two electrical outlets convenient for all your charging needs–especially your scooter or wheelchair. The phone has easy-to-read accessible buttons.
More accessibility details! The closet has a lowered rod and an easy-to-reach luggage rack. The open shelving makes it easy to put clothing away without having to contend with drawers getting in the way. The coffee set-up on top of the mini-refrigerator makes that an easy reach as well.
The roll-in shower has a hand-held shower wand and easy-to-reach wall-mounted bath amenities. I let the manager know that the shower chair wasn’t adjustable and the President of the company herself ordered an adjustable height shower chair immediately! Bravo!
The east-facing enclosed patio is a lovely place to have a cup of morning coffee, with a flat threshold connecting to the room.
Creekside Cafe is conveniently located next to Sonoma Creek Inn for breakfast and lunch, but is closed on Mondays so we couldn’t Spotlight it too. We have had breakfast and lunch there several times enjoying the food, casual ambiance and accessibility.
Sonoma Creek Inn is a hidden gem! It’s casual, comfortable, clean and charming. If you don’t require a luxury hotel, Sonoma Creek Inn may be just what you’re looking for.
